1
Is WeVolt compatible with my inverter/battery? Do you have a compatibility list?
Yes — WeVolt provides a verified compatibility list covering major brands/models and the required communication method (CAN / RS485), plus setup notes where needed. If your model isn’t listed, we can confirm compatibility before purchase to avoid guesswork.
2
Does WeVolt support “Pylontech protocol”?
WeVolt is designed around common ESS communication approaches and supports CAN/RS485 BMS communication with verified profiles for supported systems. The recommended protocol and profile depend on the inverter model shown in our compatibility table.
3
CAN vs RS485 — which one should I use?
WeVolt supports CAN and RS485 (model-dependent). Use the interface specified in the compatibility list and setup guide for your inverter to ensure stable closed-loop control (charging/discharging).
4
Can I expand later (parallel / higher capacity)?
Yes — WeVolt systems are designed to scale (e.g., adding batteries in parallel) based on model limits and wiring guidance. The allowed expansion depends on the specific battery/inverter model and configuration.
5
How long does shipping take to Europe / the US?
Delivery time depends on destination and stock/dispatch status. If delivered from local warehouse, it generally takes 3-7 days. If delivered from factory, it takes 30-60 days. Please contact sophia@wevolt.global for delivery time and stock availability confirmation.
6
Will my order get stuck in customs? Do you provide tracking?
WeVolt ships with required lithium logistics documentation and provides tracking after dispatch. With compliant DG handling (lithium battery shipping), customs delays are reduced, though timing can still vary by country.
7
Do I need to pay import duty or VAT?
No — Under DDP, duties and taxes are typically included for standard destinations; under non-DDP terms, local duties/VAT may be payable on arrival (For remote regions or countries, please contact sophia@wevolt.global for delivery support).
8
What does DDP mean (and are there exceptions)?
DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) means WeVolt arranges delivery with duties/taxes included for defined destinations, with exceptions such as special/remote cases stated in the delivery terms. We clarify the applicable term before you confirm the order.
9
What warranty do you provide, and how does support work?
WeVolt offers 10-year warranty for most of our batteries and 5-year warranties for most of our inverters. Please download product-specific warranty in the product page.
10
What if the product arrives damaged (DOA) or doesn’t match the spec?
If product is defective or damaged when arrival, WeVolt will cover all necessary costs.
11
Why choose WeVolt instead of mixing brands or building DIY packs?
Mixed-brand builds often introduce compatibility and commissioning risk (CAN/RS485 settings, protocol mismatch, finger-pointing between suppliers). WeVolt reduces that risk with a pre-matched inverter + LiFePO4 battery system, built for fast setup and long-term reliability at DIY-friendly pricing.
12
Do you provide compliance documents (CE / UN38.3 / MSDS/SDS)?
Yes — WeVolt provides key documentation as applicable, such as CE, UN38.3, and MSDS/SDS, to support shipping and compliance requirements. Document availability is tied to specific models and is referenced in product pages and the document hub.
13
What are WeVolt's product positioning and target customer?
WeVolt is positioned as B2B-grade engineering discipline (QC, verification, after-sales structure) delivered at DIY price by optimizing system integration and customer delivery efficiency — not by cutting core quality controls. WeVolt is designed for both DIY beginners and experienced professionals.
14
What’s the best WeVolt setup for my use case (off-grid cabin / backup home)?
Choose inverter size and battery capacity based on your load profile and runtime goal. WeVolt plug-and-play bundles are designed for common off-grid/backup use cases, and the system can scale based on model limits.
