WeVolt Battery Capacity Self-Test Contest
If your battery capacity doesn’t meet the rated spec, we refund you 100% or replace it with a brand-new one.
To strengthen customer trust and transparency, WeVolt offers a Capacity Self-Test Guarantee.
You can test your battery’s capacity (Ah) at home (or via a third-party). If the verified result, under the conditions below, is lower than the rated capacity for your model (as shown on the nameplate/spec sheet), WeVolt will provide a full refund.
How it works (3 steps)
Step 1
Perform a Capacity (Ah) Test
Recommended measurement (best accuracy):

-
DC electronic load (constant current) or a DC load setup
-
A meter that can count Ah (coulomb counter / shunt meter / test log)
Note: AC kWh only is usually not enough to confirm Ah. If you only have AC data, we may ask for DC-side Ah data or a retest.
Step 2
Submit Your Test Results
Send the required evidence so we can verify the test was done correctly.

Required:
-
Order number / proof of purchase (you may mask sensitive info)
-
Battery model + clear photo of the serial number (SN)
-
Screenshots/photos showing:
-
Before test: SOC, voltage, temperature
-
Fully charged: SOC, voltage, temperature
-
End of discharge: total discharged Ah, voltage, temperature, SOC
-
-
A short video (or continuous recording) showing:
-
SN/label
-
Discharge current setting
-
End-of-discharge screen with total Ah
-
Optional (helps faster verification):
-
Electronic load logs / curves
-
Coulomb counter data export
-
Third-party test report
Step 3
Verification & Return
Once we receive complete materials, we verify and confirm the result.

-
If verified capacity is below the rated capacity, return your device to our pointed facility and we will cover all logistics costs.
-
If evidence or conditions are incomplete → we will request missing items or a retest
Step 4
Refund or Replacement
Let us know if you want a refund or replacement

-
If you wish a refund, we will process it for you soon.
-
If you wish a replacement, we will send you a new one and cover all related costs.
Requirements
Test Conditions
To ensure fairness and repeatability, your test must follow:

-
Ambient temperature: 0–35°C (recommended 20–30°C)
-
Discharge rate: 0.2C – 0.5C
-
C-rate formula: Discharge current (A) = Rated Capacity (Ah) × C
-
-
Rest time: After full charge, rest ≥ 2 hours before discharge
-
Discharge end condition:
-
Stop when the system reaches BMS low-voltage cutoff or the manual’s specified cutoff
-
Do not stop early
-
-
Ah measurement required: Must provide discharged Ah from a coulomb counter/shunt meter/load log
-
Safety: High current is involved. Use correct cable size, tight terminals, protection (breaker/fuse), ventilation, and safe operation.
Pass/Fail rule
We compare your verified discharged capacity (Ah) to the rated capacity of your model (nameplate/spec sheet).

-
Pass: Measured capacity ≥ rated capacity
-
Fail: Measured capacity < rated capacity (under the required conditions) → full refund
If results are near the threshold or evidence is unclear, we may request one retest to eliminate measurement error.
Important terms
Requirements
-
One claim per battery serial number (SN)
-
Not applicable if there is misuse, physical damage, water damage, unauthorized modification (BMS/wiring), or clear signs of improper operation
-
Lithium battery return shipment must comply with dangerous goods regulations; packaging must meet safety requirements
-
WeVolt reserves the right to request additional evidence to verify test conditions
